A G Hendy & Co is a homegoods store tucked away in a grade II listed Georgian townhouse in Hastings. They sell a mix of vintage homewares, enamel pieces, and trusty linens, with utility at the core. Alastair the Owner, has recently renovated a sixteenth century house, back to its original features: a magical place to visit at Christmas.

Gaia is one of the best local alterative pharmacies offering herbal remedies, homeopathy, and high quality brands such as Neal's Yard, Dr Hauschka and Weleda to name a few. I regulary stock up on their handmade almond oil, which is the best natural make up remover!

Where to Stay
Tillingham is a biodynamic vineyard, set amongst 70 acres of rolling hills near Rye. They recently converted a hop barn into several double rooms for guests to stay, and they also have bell tents outside for the warmer months. They offer wine tours, a beautiful seasonal menu and the best sourdough pizzas. The decor is so enticing.

Bincho Yakitori is a small Japanese restaurant in Brighton, inspired by the back street izakaya and drinking places in downtown Tokyo. The atmosphere is bustling, vibrant, and intimate.
